Betty considers herself to be self-taught. Although she has a degree in Fashion Design, she had never painted until her doctor recommended she paint as a form of therapy while recovering from a back injury. She enjoys painting abstracts, whimsical landscapes, and whimsical portraits of women. Her work can be found in private collections around the world.
